Founded by Christien Ellis in 2007 and built on 14 years of professional loudspeaker design experience, CE Electro-Acoustics provides solid support through the evolutionary stages of loudspeaker design and development. Taking novel technologies through the development process and providing 'out of the box' solutions for challenging designs. Christien Ellis BEng MScFrom an early age a fascination of sound has led Christien into a lifelong study of electro-acoustics. A degree in electronics and a masters in acoustics provided the audio acoustic foundation. Committed to a loudspeaker profession and equipped with certificates, a career opportunity for a junior loudspeaker engineer arose in 1996 with British hi-fi company, Mission Electronics. In 1997 Christien transferred from Mission to support the development of a new loudspeaker technology which resulted in a career with the technology licensing company, New Transducers Limited (NXT). Work ensued on the development of an unusual and rather modal loudspeaker, the Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML). Christien later operated in a technical research and management role for the development of full range drive units, now commercially known as the Audio Full Range (AFR) and Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) drive units. Further commercial development allowed the opportunity to work alongside world-class loudspeaker companies, broadening his loudspeaker and commercial field of view. Wishing to commit and support the audio and loudspeaker industry further, CE Electro-Acoustics was founded in 2007. For more information please contact CE Electro-Acoustics. |
